Minecraft is a sandbox (open world) game created by and indie (independent) video game developer named Markus Persson or "Notch". The game is focused on creativity and building, allowing players to build constructions out of textured cubes in a 3D world. Minecraft is a game of survival. Minecraft is a game that exploded with fame over night. Only in the stages of development or Beta it has already sold over 2 million copies worldwide. The game still has yet to be fully released at 11-11-11 and its already sold over 2 million copies! that is more than 30 million in the pocket of Notch over the course of a year. People raved over this game, calling it unique, a special kind of game, and many critics urged their viewers to buy the game and try it out. Notch made a game that didnt have phenomenal graphics and made it a major hit. Its the first time someone has done it, in a world surrounded by top of the line graphics that sells games these days. Upon entering the world you find youself in land you are unfamiliar with. There is nothing around you but the sound of trees blowing in the wind, and a landscape so beautiful, only a true God could have created it. And what do you do? you start chopping down trees, you create a pick axe and with it mine stone and copper, you build yourself a sturdy home to stay in, as the moon rises and sun descends, blanketing you in darkness. You stand there in your little 10x10 house built with 8 pixel blocks, hoping for the best. Then you hear it, the feint gurgle of something outside of your house. Its waiting for you, waiting... you know it and so does it, you will soon meet your demise. SsSsSsSsSsSsSsS... "who, whos there?" you say to the darkness you call your home. "wha- what are you doing?" you feel confused and then you see it, the outline of some creature hunched over in the corner of your house, its eyes lidless and black staring back at you with malcontent, the eyes, of a creeper " YOU FU-" BOOM!!!.... You know it and so does it, you have met your demise.
